No mention of SMB functionality unfortunately. The update is not available yet for my Mini, so I cannot test it. @WiiM Team - any update on this?

-- snip image --- My Silver Ultra ordered at amazon.nl was set to arrive next week Thursday. Today I got a mail it should arrive tomorrow. I expect quite an upset if Wiim is to launch an Ultra version with Airplay support for the same price as the current offering in a few weeks time.

I'm wondering what is keeping the update for the Mini. It is the only Wiim which doesnt support SMB yet (hopefully the delay isn't related to SMB :eek: )

You need a Pro Plus to complete the collection ;)

I'd love to see Wiim produce a nice aluminium remote in the same colors as the Wiim Ultra. I'd buy a silver one.

Unfortunately that feature is not available yet on the Mini. If you have an other Wiim device which supports SMB you can link your mini to that device to play music from a SMB share (did that with Wiim Amp, Pro and Pro Plus - worked like a charm)

My configured share in the Wiim app is \\192.168.240.11\music - It is working fine.

Just updated my Wiim amp. SMB works like a charm :) . Can't wait for the update to be available on the other Wiim's Edit - not entirely like a charm it seems. After some time music via SMB stops playing. Share is still availalbe int he app. I can restart the album or selct another folder and...

Today I stumbled upon Adding and Accessing SMB Shared Files in the WiiM App in the faq. I do not have that option (yet) in the Wiim app on my android phone. Anyone having that functionality in the app (I am really waiting for this ;)?

Does anyone know where the Wiim app on windows stores the "My Library" info (albums, etc)? I deleted some albums but they are still visible in 'My Library" incl . the album art. Rescan did not fix this

I'd love to see a Wiim Mini Plus which supports chromecast audio. In the summer I listen music via the Audio Pro C10 in the garden which does not have Chromecast support (unlike the MkII). I like the formfactor of the mini to connect to such speakers.
