Yup. Trust me. I tried everything within the app. I work from home and music keeps me sane through the day. This is the only endpoint with an issue. My Eversolo DMP A-6 in my main system has never had a drop and my other Ropieee based endpoints work flawlessly as well.
It shows but won't play. I don't have a cable drop in this room. It won't play tidal direct either. Shows artwork etc. but just spins. As I said, I manually set ip address as well within the range given by the router and that makes no difference.
Yup. It will come up for a while and then drop out and then disappear from Roon. The airplay and chromecast versions always still show up but won't work either. I didn't think to ask WiiM to look into it. I figured I was out of warranty as I have had it for a couple of years now.
No, in fact I moved so I am only using one EERO as it will cover all areas. Nothing changed in the topology and I have verified all IP's are on the same sub nets. I tried both a manual IP as well as DHCP.
My WiiM amp has become so unstable that I cannot stream any longer to it. Wifi says all is good but just spins and nothing. Also does not matter which stream protocol (RAAT, AirPlay, Cast). This all seems to have started for me about two firmware updates ago. I have not seen anyone else post...
Like a dummy I thought the deftech sub that I have with the soundbar had line inputs and I could double dip. Darn thing is wireless only. Will see what happens.
I will say that I had to connect mine via ethernet for it to complete the setup. I was not able to do it via WiFi. Once ethernet worked I just had to complete my WiFi password and I was good. Now to try and be patient for the Roon firmware update that has been promised. :)
