Up to last week: Apple M2 mini connected to a router in another room (where the hi-fi is situated), by ethernet, to a Wiim Pro. Another Wiim Pro is in a 'garden room', with a Wiim mini in the kitchen; both connected wirelessly. Problem: multiple drop-outs. Altering one of the Wims would mean all...
Sorry to hear about your problems. I have a M2 MacMini and a Wiim Pro connected via ethernet and a Wiim mini connected via Wireless.
Both work; (so I 'm not going to be able to help you much am I - but just to say it CAN work). I use Apple Music. I'm sure you've done it but have you tried to...
The Wiim Pro is connected to the internet via ethernet, the mini by wireless. The router is a British Telecom SmartHub (hence BT and not Bluetooth (bt)).

1. I press on Wiim Mini E636/Let's fix it icon (the device I no longer have).
2. It then takes me to a page re my BT router (a BT Smart hub), which I've already fixed.
3. I press 'Done' and it takes me back to 1 (above)
I have both the Mini and Pro versions. My original Wiim Mini was returned after a week as I assumed it was faulty, however, the name and model number still come up on the app with the 'unable to connect/let's fix it...' message.
Surely there must be an easy option to 'forget this device' from...
Yep, same here on a M2 macmini pro. App: 2.4.3 230 4074
Great - at last.
Also, my Wiim Mini and Pro are now tethered and over the last 2 days I've found the network more stable - fewer occasions for me to restart the two (esp the mini).
Getting there...
Perhaps unclick/tick the 'Pro' device in Apple Music and wait for 10 secs or so and reclick/retick.
Let me know if it works.
I have had a similar problem both with an iMac (2015) and a brand-new M2 MacMini Pro.
May be a buffering issue.
