My solution is this: I will play through the Tidal Windows App which is more convenient for me (it shows MAX as quality) but when I want to check the sound quality I will look the Wiim app in my android phone which shows 24bit/192Khz!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Fantastic!!!!!

When I play tidal though the Wiim android app (no tidal connect) the screen shows 24bit/96. (wiim pro plus) When I play with tidal connect via my tidal windows app my android wimm app (which is not playing but just syncing) shows 24/192!!! Which one is correct!!!!!!

I have a FIIO M11 that I can try. But Unfortunately with Tidal on Windows 11 connecting with the Wiim Pro Plus via Tidal Connect I am not sure about the quality I am streaming.

On android when you just click "MAX" it changes to FLAC. When you press-hold it it gets you to the preferences In windows it opens the tab for Audio Quality where you see Max: up to 24bit,192Khz. But this is not clear what is the real streaming quality of the file playing

thanks for the reply. I registered with the beta firmware. The number release is 4.8.532846 build date 20231018 (yesterday) .Is this the beta or not? I do not have any extra DAC. Just Wiim Pro Plus. Greetings

In Tidal I choose a flac track 24bit 192khz and it shows in yellow letters MAX/FLAC . When I change to tidal connect to wiim plus the track in tidal changes to MAX. Is this normal?

The PC app shows 32bit...... while the wimm phone android app shows 24bit...... I am using the line out to a YAMAHA YSP 4000 soundbar.
