I have three questions about the Ultra.
1) I own a Pro Plus currently, is there an audible upgrade if I move to the Ultra?
2) My turntable has a Moving Iron cartridge by Grado Labs. Does the Ultra provide enough signal for this cartridge? And will it sound as good as my ART DJ II Turntable...
I'm a musician, so I have a bunch of Pro-AUdio gear and I know Furman products on the pro-audio side of things. I know the power to my house is not the greatest. Lots of noise. So the improvement I claim is that adding this unit to my high-end gear reduced the noise floor thus making the audio...
I'm not convinced changing the power supply on the Wiim will make any noticeable (dollars worth) improvement. Before purchasing anything, I'd like to hear what Wiim themselves say about the matter.
I did find that buying this unit improved my sound tremendously. https://furmanpower.com/product/15a-prestige-power-conditioner-w-power-factor-technology/. I run a Wiim, into Klipsch LaScala powered by a Decware Tube Rachel.

This is currently my hardware setup. The only thing missing here is a phono pre amp. It terms of the software variables I'm finding Plex media server extremely complicated and impossible to understand. Since there is no support for Plex I'm pretty much lost at the moment.
I suppose what I'm really experiencing here is a BIG JUMP up in accuracy of the orig recording....I guess. I mean, this tube amp (Decware) and my Klipsch LaScala's are reproducing the audio and the original recording flaws in my estimation. I did find that when I plugged in a CD into my crappy...
