Definitely would love to test this out. I have a couple of older Android tablets lying around that can't justify getting a raspberry pi and display. Currently using kiwi browser with Wiim watcher extension but would love to test this out

Yes, that's exactly what I am doing, but via Tasker, so that you don't have to manually do it. For some reason, even though the screen is maximized, when the screen turns off and back on, kiwi doesn't stay maximized. Thus automated the clicking on the album art.

Thanks, I was able to figure it out. Using Tasker for Android, I was able to create a task that uses WiiM Api to determine if it's currently playing or not. If so, I have it turn on the screen and set the screen timeout to several hours to avoid it turning back off. Also used Taskers...
