Well darn, this is the only thing missing for me. It would be nice to be able to continue to use the wiim amp as an HDMI capable preamp down the road but I guess you can't have absolutely everything.

I saw someone on the audio science review thread say they read the analog in could be switched to be used as an analog out to make the wiim amp a preamp... Does anyone know anything about this claim??

@Brantome Can you verify a high pass filter when you get things up and running?
