Yes it is restricted to 48kHz. Don't know of any app to stream at higher quality, capturing audio from another app.
Neil Young Archives, Vol. I, II and III, are available 24-bit/192 kHz in Tidal and Qobuz. Maybe in other services are available as well.
You can choose what to play Tidal, Qobuz, from local folders like your mobile or yours home network like your NAS, SMB folders...
Once playing you can cast!
Sure there is a way I know. You should use USB Audio player Pro. You hve an option to Cast at the left hand side menú. Then you choose your Wiim as UPnp . In Wiim home you'll see It as DLNA cast
Perhaps I didn't explained myselft coreectly.
Obviously I know you can control Plexamp from the WHA but missing DJ features, Sonic Sage or Sonic Adventure.

In my case the subnet mask was the same all rhe time for Wiim and NAS, so for me that didn't matter at all.
As I said before It was caused by the subnet created in the local IP adress no in the subnet mask.
I didn't mean subnet mask, but a subnet other than the one in your local IP DHCP range like it was apparently in your case lets say 192.168.128.xxx. vs 192.168.129.xxx
In my case Nas was in 192.168.1.xxx and Wiim was in 192.168.31.xxx, so once my Wiim was in my local IP 192.168.1.xxx. , my Plex...
