The answer is easy. Audiophiles are never content. They need complicated adjustable settings to fine tune their equipment knowing that it will be fine for a few days max.
I unsubscribed from Sirius about a month ago. They call my cell phone every day. They email me at least three days a week. They send me letters in the mail twice a week. Im never going back.
As an Amp Pro owner i have to say i was jelous of the screen on the ultra. But having the app on my fire tv has made me qutie happy. I look forward to WiiM expanding the capabilities of the App and maybe allow me to have total control of my WiiM network from my TV. Nice report on the comparison.
Whatever you do stick with a major brand name. I tried the cheap knock offs on Amazon and ended up costing myself more money in the end. They were riddled with errors. Copying a large amount of data onto a storage device requires quality from the device. Purchase larger storage capacity than you...
I have a fiestick, firecube, and a new but cheap Insignia Fire TV. The app works well on all of them. The lyrics sometimes are a line behind, but that happens with the Amazon app as well. The WiiM home app is all I use now.
I rescanned the drive about a week ago, and then created the playlists. No big deal. I was going to change a few songs anyways. The thought of exporting a playlist to documents on my phone occurred to me. Like a CSV file?
During the update to my WiiM Pro or the update to the Home App I lost my 2 playlists. The playlists were created from Music on my WiiM Pro Amp usb connection.
