The Amp Pro room correction needs a version for L/R and Sub. It also needs a recommended settings for RC. There are just adjustments on there that I don't understand and have no interest in understanding.
😂 Well you said you have the AVR equalized and the pro sounds bright. So what are your choices? Equalize the Pro, Listen to it like it is, or get rid of the Pro. If you are looking for a magic trick I'm afraid your out of luck.
I have an older Onkyo AVR with Aqu EQ or something like that. I use the AVR room balance for everything but my streamer. I have the Pro hooked to my CD input via digital connection. I can switch off the AVR EQ for the connection and I use WiiM room correction for the stereo sound of the Pro.
I know the Wiim team is always working on updates. Right now in my opinion the Amp Pro needs a few more tweaks to be all it can be. I have a spare Mini. I think I'll just hook it into my DAC as a separate system to use my wired headphones. Thanks to all that replied.
A few quick questions....I'm using USB out to a DAC/Preamp for headphonea. I still hear the Subs. Must I manually turn them off?
Volume on the phones is low. Is it safe to crank the volume all the way up on the Amp Pro and use the volume on the Dac?
And lastly? Is the USB equalized with room...
I have the Amp Pro. 100 watts per channel would have been nice. I ditched my old Amp for an all in one package. I still don't see a headphone port. One thing WiiM refuses to put on their Amps.
