Regarding Amazon Music, the issue was caused by a setting in Amazon Music.
Normalized volume was switched on. After switching it of the volume was "correct".

I have just set up my new Wiim pro plus and have encountered few issues / questions.
At first device was detected only with WLAN network connection and not via LAN.
Took me a while to figure that out.
Also Chromecast is also o working with WLAN only and not in LAN mode...
