USB on all Schitt dacs is great, probably best implementation under $3000. Trying to convert an optical to usb does not get good results. Future USB output would be great, i don’t care what dac chip is used, i wouldn’t use it. It would be a great streamer under $300

I have 2 Pro’s, 1 coax out to SCHITT dac, rca’s out to amp for outdoor speakers (dac used). 2nd Pro same coax out to SCHITT DAC. Would really like a USB output, use only as streamer.

Wiim should put in LARGE CAPITAL LETTERS that Roon Ready 6/30 might only be Beta vetsion. I did not “fill out form” for Beta simply because 6/30 ROON READY! For $150 you can’t expect perfection. Will wait (big sigh)

Been a lifetime ROON subscriber since inception. Have 2 WiiM Pro’s, neither updated firmware on 6/30 or today. Last firmware update: 20230615; v. 4.8.520133. :rebooted both, nothing, unplugged nothing. Hawaii is not “Outer Mongolia”, if Germany got it why not mine?

WiiM Pro released Nov/Dec. 2002. Wiim states “ROON READY” being worked on. Feb.2, 2023 - ROON Ready timeline by end of first quarter (3/31/23), end of 3rd quarter in 15 days. I was being sarcastic in reference to ROON Ready by end of of 2023 which would be anniversary of introduction.

Not quite the same, wondering if success with Apple Home Pods (2), no subwoofer, and PRO with Apple TV. Just got the Home Pods, better sound to me than existing Samsung Sound Bar and sub, HDMI out from Apple TV to ARC in Samsung TV? Any comments appreciated. New PRO working great on Ethernet.

Rebooted Netgear ORBI mesh router, changed port PRO was plugged in on Netgear GS305v3 switch, changed Ethernet cable from Bellkens CAT6 to Audioquest Carbon Ethernet cable: Ethernet now connected, shows in app. Will wonders never cease. WiiM support was very helpful in responding quickly

Yes, My version of app does not have options shown on WiiM instructions emailed to me, also noticed that some users have ROON READY in browse options. Wondering how to determine latest version of app? PRO is streaming music as ROON endpoint.

New replacement PRO from Wii. Same issues, they are timely in responding to ticket submitted. My App gives no option for disabling Wi-Fi (toggle shown in instructions under DNS Server, mine shows "Wi-Fi Roaming). Other instruction is to go to "Browse", scroll down "click Ethernet, unfortunately...
