So I accidentally deleted this and wondered how can I get it back? Thanks for any help.

Guys, I was simply puzzled why one app was giving a different rate to the other on the same album. Nothing to do with which is 'best' or satisfying my brain with higher numbers, and for the record (is that a pun 👀) my pro sounds so much better powered by battery.

I'm not getting into that.

Wait, I've tried it again from Wiim app, without changing anything, and now I'm getting 24/48! Oh well nowt so strange as apps 🤔

Hmmm I can only get 16/44.1 if I play it from wiim app and like I say I have coax set to 24/96. Obviously I'm playing it from the Tidal app 😊

It's set to 24/96 that's my dac limit (dcs delius)

Playing John Oates Reunion from the Tidal app to my Wiim pro gives me 24/48 but playing it from the Wiim app is 16/44.1 Strange?

It is what it is don't get too distracted by it. I merely implied that my pro is functioning perfectly for me and therefore I wasn't hankering for a new update.

I use pro daily I can't think of an update it needs.

Yes I figured as the app was saying pro is online, lights confirmed this, but app can't find it then it's gotta be the app not pro or router. Nowt so strange as apps.

I reinstalled the app (android 14) and so far so good! Thanks for all the helpful advice guys 👍

Well it was off to start with so yes I don't use ethernet If it does it again tomorrow I'll factory reset Thank you for advice

The app eventually tells me to toggle WiFi off/on on my phone and it looks like it reboots the pro as the lights start flashing and we get there in the end but as a daily occurrence it's a bit of a pain. I don't use ethernet.
