And the reason you like the Yamaha and the Schiit is because of the analog stages in and out. IMHO Nobody ever mentions upgrading that part of the Ultra

The arm is a series V better bearings magnesium arm, cart is an entry Dynavector 10x5 V2. This beast is fun. I agree with all your points. Hope I don’t get in trouble for posting pictures of my turntables.
I have Bifrost 2 that I used with my Ultra. It controls the amp better with more punch. Open it up and look at the analog output stage there’s really no comparison to the Ultra. Would be nice if Mike Moffat could take the WiiM streamer and design the analog stage🤷♂️ But the Bifrost cost more...

The analog stage is so important. No one ever seems to mention it. I would rather have a lesser dac chip set and a great analog stage, than a great dac with crappy analog stage.
I had a Chord Qutest 2 connected to the USB on the Ultra. When I used the analog outputs on the Ultra, the performance was better. You are getting a lot of good advice on here and a synopsis of that advice is, spend your money elsewhere.
I am sitting here listening to the WiiM Vibelink on 4k speakers, hell my speaker stands cost more than this amp. It just a killer little amp. Can’t imagine something at the 1000.00 price point from these guys. Wow just wow
