I can’t help out much here, but per some release notes, the center channel should be active if you add a Pro or above to the group. That being said, it also does not work for me. In the group I already have defined, I’m using an Ultra for the front, and a Pro for the surrounds. If I add a 2nd...
Is anyone having any luck using the Dolby 5.1 setup? I was using it with moderate success for months, and after various updates it doesn’t work at all. All I get now is an occasional burst of sound out of the surrounds for a few seconds here and there. Absolutely nothing physically has changed...
Is the device based center channel support active? If so, what WiiM devices support it? I tried syncing an additional WiiM Pro to my Ultra and I’m seeing surround left and surround right, but no center.
So it sounds like I need another WiiM Pro or above to do this where I already have an Ultra and a Pro installed and I already have two spare minis laying around. Oh well. 😉
No, again have a third device. I have an Ultra and a Pro already grouped to use the 5.1 feature. I want to know what the requirements are to add a third physical device with the new firmware. At this point, with the new firmware and adding a spare mini to the group, the ‘C’ option for Center is...
I’m sure this is triggered due to particular content, but does anyone experience random echos between the fronts and surrounds that comes and goes? I don’t think it’s a sync issue, as I’m not experiencing lip sync issues, etc. This is an actual echo that comes and goes between the front and...
Via browse, home music share. All my LMS folders are there and I can play those. If I go to the folder where the playlists are stored, it appears empty from the WiiM side.
I’m noticing that my Pro & Ultra aren’t reading the .m3u playlists in my LMS home music share. Do they need to be in another format, etc? I currently store them in a separate folder on my LMS server.
I didn’t say I didn’t believe it. Have you tried a test with someone else’s assistance switching the source drives without your knowledge of which one you’re listening to? I think you should do this and report back.
Well, to each his own, but a bit is a bit. Have someone switch the source drives back and forth blind to you and see if you can hear the difference. Might be worth the time.
