    Still curious about the real reason the AirPlay feature on the Ultra got canned. I suspect it has something to do with the Airplay streaming functionality on the other devices (that also got canned).

    Maybe the OP uses a regular jack to rca plug which he put in the AUX output of the mini. No issues there. But he needs to select the correct output of the mini (and not the optical output).

    AirPlay 1 and 2 don’t do High Res. Best you can get with AirPlay 1 is CD Quality.

    Checked some other forums and 256kbps is what you get with AirPlay 2 streaming from any Apple Music App.

    It definitely doesn’t look good. Still, there is always the option the Wiim displays the wrong information. Any idea how we can check with Wiim if they can troubleshoot?

    Plot twist! Just downloaded the Deezer App and started to stream via AirPlay 2 to my Wiim Pro and guess what? A 900kbps stream…

    So basically, with regard to AirPlay 2, Apple Music Apps (iOS / macOS) stream AAC and Mac Systems stream ALAC to AirPlay 2 devices.

    It gets worse. Streaming directly from any Apple Music App (iOS or macOS) results into a 256kbps stream while streaming directly from my MacBook results into a 900kbps stream… Music App stream MacBook Stream

    Please realise the editable Playing Next overview. If I create this list currently I cannot swap tracks around. It can be as easy as Apple Music does this with some horizontal lines next to the track:
