    Room correction improvement suggestions

Usually well designed speakers will slope down naturally, but not always. And if it doesn't, you have to use up some of the 10 band PEQ to help with this, instead of focusing those 10 bands below 300hz. The added tilt function would add extra adjustability along it.

No, it's also part of Anthem room correction. You can start at 80hz, 150hz, whatever you want, and then have the response tilt lower by how ever many dB you want until 20khz. Or tilt up, if you prefer brighter. It allows for the preferred down sloping in-room curve without having to EQ above...

Is adding a frequency tilt going to be considered in the future?

    Room correction improvement suggestions

Adding a tilt option to room correction, to do the B&K 6dB downward slope from approx 100hz to 20khz would be awesome.

    Enhanced Room Correction is Here!

It is, seriously! 😃 I did a lot of researching, had quite a few speakers over the years, and listened to many of the best systems at dealers and audio shows. I put this system together over the last year. The Ascend ELX ribbon towers are extremely clear, detailed, and accurate. They came to...

    Enhanced Room Correction is Here!

That's awesome! I'll be able to try it and compare it to what I already have.

    Enhanced Room Correction is Here!

You can add an external mic, but without being to add a microphone calibration file, the measurements probably won't be any more accurate to your system than an unobstructed iPhone mic. I already did the same thing with both an iPhone and a Umik-2. So I used a Martin Logan Unison with Anthem...

    Enhanced Room Correction is Here!

I found Wiim room correction isn't accurate at all above 5khz or so. It also added the same 8khz and 16khz peaks that you have, and made my system sound way too bright. Try stopping the room correction around 4khz to hear if it's much improved. The lower the frequency correction the better, at...

Ultra and amp pro and prices..

An ESS with a SNR of 121. Sounds like another garbage Topping product. Very disappointed they switched from AKM. Also just ditched another product with ESS that sounded etched and unnatural. Plan B is going to have 2 pieces instead of 1, but the better sound quality will be worth it. I was...

    WiiM Ultra

Very rarely do diamonds come from anyone else's posts. The manufacturer will be the one to tell you about the specs accurately, which is what I want to know. You don't need to fall for Advertising or gimmicks if you don't want to. It's only 2 weeks to wait, so I don't really need to come on...

    WiiM Ultra

I have a Pro Plus with a bryston bha-1, and it's the best sounding headphone system I've had to date, that's why I'm not concerned about a new dac unless it's ESS, which I don't want. And more PEQ and room correction are the reasons I'm very interested in the Ultra, to use with the end game 2...

    WiiM Ultra

Personally I'd like to only read posts from Wiim about the Ultra, not useless banter about dacs, etc... Can Wiim posts be made extra bold and eye catching, so it's easier to skim past all the crap to find the important stuff?

    WiiM Ultra

My Pro plus is currently coupled to a bryston bha-1 headphone amp. Soon I'll have a Pro plus or Ultra hooked up to a bha-1 as preamp into a bryston 3B cubed power amp. Both of these amps are decent and slightly more expensive than the Wiim streamers.

    WiiM Ultra

Balanced output would've been nice because I'd use it, but not a deal breaker for me. I'm hoping for the same or better AKM dac as the Pro Plus and not ESS, with 2 or 3 input selectable 10 band PEQ's, and a very good room correction system. So great dac, more PEQ, and room correction, and it's...
