WiiM Amp Ultra Firmware v5.2.734250 Update - Nov 1, 2025

And calling it “Logitech” makes this sloppiness even worse. Come on @WiiM Team surely you know better than this. I understand the Lyrion based community of users is a small subset of your install base, but last I checked there was over 1,600 WiiM devices reported as connected to a Lyrion...

Introducing WiiM Sound: Your Smart Speaker for High-Res, Room-Filling Audio

I would think the WiiM Edition A10 MKII would count as a Gen 2 product, but did not sound like that worked in @Burnside test?

    Squeezelite Tidal and LMS

I can confirm there is no lag when syncing multiple WiiM devices with Squeezebox Touch devices and RPi running Squeezelite. I do not have experience Eversolo Play, but have read postings from others with sync issues on other Eversolo devices.

    How to connect to turntable

Yes. When you pair two WiiM devices they are sharing the audio lossless over network (WiFi or Ethernet) connection. It is like the difference between AirPlay vs BT. Although I think the Pro Plus would be the easier solution, if you are interested in a less expensive solution and comfortable...

    Wiim Amp bookshelf speakers

My WiiM AMP is driving a pair of DBR62’s in my home office and I can confirm to “my aging ears” this combo sounds very good (at a very reasonable price point).

My WiiM Amp tests, chapter 2

For fear and balanced reporting….. I just saw on the ASR thread a reference PCB v2 unit without any audible hum. Post in thread 'WiiM Amp discussion' https://audiosciencereview.com/forum/index.php?threads/wiim-amp-discussion.47096/post-1859504

My WiiM Amp tests, chapter 2

Funny that you mention that as I did not hear the hum at first either. Interestingly, it was your comment about the unit feeling warm that made me curious to check how warm mine felt. I think I actually felt the hum with my hand resting on the top of the unit before I actually heard it and that...

My WiiM Amp tests, chapter 2

I can also confirm that to my ears, my first batch and replacement units both sound great. I could not perceive any difference in sound quality. However my conclusions should be taken with the following understanding: I do not claim to have “audiophile ears” I was not using the sub out My amp...

My WiiM Amp tests, chapter 2

My serial # starts P1TF235005xxx. And the 50th work week would match my "uboot_verinfo": "231211.095208" But I agree it is still probably not a production timestamp. The binary build date seems more likely. It could just be coincidence that my dates aligns or maybe they need to build a new...

My WiiM Amp tests, chapter 2

Certainly a date time stamp. I got my replacement unit from Amazon US yesterday and mine is "uboot_verinfo": "231211.095208" and also "PCB_version": "5" Interesting that mine is so much older although maybe @onlyoneme has a better source for their new unit. I am happy as my new one is dead...

WiiM Amp setup that requires WiFi username?

I think you will have better luck with a cheap travel router that lets you connect to an authentication page. These guy have some good info on them if you are not familiar. https://independenttravelcats.com/best-travel-routers/
