I guess they could do an update all button and/or not have the screen blocked by the update.
You can actually force quit the app after starting the update and kick of the update for another device. Seems like the app is not doing anything during the update. It would actually be a weird...
I still don't get the sentiment. Why even bother to manually update at all?
If there is a feature you're desperately waiting for fine but the devices auto update at night when idle:
Automatic Updates
During silent upgrade, it should be no sound and no indication.
Upgrade from 2:00-5:00 a.m.
One point that was mentioned multiple times here is that its impossible to make meassurements that can generalized to all enviroments out there and this is especially true for my setup. Hard to enjoy sound coming only from 1 speaker.
But maybe it's still transparent because there is no audible...
The first 2 images in this thread compare waveforms over the digital coax output.
This was a game changer for me as with the Wiim Ultra I finally have stereo when using 192khz/24bit. With the Wiim Pro only 1 channel worked.
I think this is one more point for: what matters for one setup does not...
Touch screen of the Wiim Ultra feels and looks nice. The volume wheel not so but according to the Wiim representative at the booth this will be changed.
While the prototype is functional at Munich HighEnd the case is more of a mockup not the actual promised sturdy aluminum.
+1, I'm currently also looking at phase linearization. I'm using roon for the sake of convolution but I would love to have it in the Wiim so I can also use it for my analogue sources.
