Yes, but it's 100% Spotify's fault and not WiiM's. Spotify has messed up Spotify Connect before and sure will do it again. I've gone back to the previous release of the Spotify app and will just wait until they get their crap work again.
Isn't the firmware update from January 10 (this thread) the firmware update needed? Seems we are going in circles.

I hope Replay Gain is an option and not permanently on. It makes sense for music stored locally on the smartphone, but for stuff on a media server it should already be handled by the software there.

What happens if you try to play files that are >96kHz? Where are those files stored (USB disk connected to your WiiM, upnp server, music service like qobuz)?
Line output is analog and there is no such thing as "data resolution". Whatever comes in will be converted to analog. What would be the expected effect of such a data resolution limit? Why do you want it?
Agree. Grey text is absolutely unreadable. But I don't think the black background is the problem why I don't like the purple font. It's just an ultimately ugly neon purple they chose. My 7 year old girl would probably love it. I don't.
OMG... I just got the new app and I have to say the purple font they use now is so damn ugly. I mean, it just looks like some random color. Who would choose a color like that? Now the WiiM logo still has that greenish color and the app suddendly is purple. Sometimes you really have to question...
That's weird as I suspect you were only exposed to it for a second or so. If it was in-ears then maybe it is rather from pulling them out quickly and negative pressure on your ear drum from it. Maybe the ear drum is torn (which actually wouldn't be the worst, because they heal quite well)? Did...
