That's great news. I'm sorry I have to blame WiiM for this issue over and over again. I really like both my WiiM Pro and Mini, but this issue has been ignored for too long. I really hope there will be a solution soon.
I don't think we should be forced to use tablets just because the app has issues. Other apps can handle long names. Why can't WiiM finally fix something that should never have been an issue?
There are different approaches for this: using multiple lines, scrolling. They just don't care about it.
Yes, there seems to be no demand for it. I think I gave good examples for why the existing solution is unusable. Like it is, WiiM is good if you only use streaming services, but it's pretty bad when it comes to music on a media server.
I really dislike BubbleUPnP and I ultimately hate that it exits without a warning when you press the "back" button.
WiiM should do their homework, not implement new stuff all the time, but make the existing features work properly.
Yes, but it's 100% Spotify's fault and not WiiM's. Spotify has messed up Spotify Connect before and sure will do it again. I've gone back to the previous release of the Spotify app and will just wait until they get their crap work again.
Isn't the firmware update from January 10 (this thread) the firmware update needed? Seems we are going in circles.
My app version is 3.1.0 now. What am I missing?
I hope Replay Gain is an option and not permanently on. It makes sense for music stored locally on the smartphone, but for stuff on a media server it should already be handled by the software there.
Okay, so here I have the ultimate answer. Google helped me a bit and since I have a couple of chinese colleagues and know that things are most probably pronounced not the way I think they are: It is "Wei mu".
This thread can be closed now! You're welcome. ;)
What happens if you try to play files that are >96kHz? Where are those files stored (USB disk connected to your WiiM, upnp server, music service like qobuz)?
