It's been under consideration for well over a year so it doesn't give one too much hope. I wouldn't even care if the interface was clunky, but would be better for the device to pull the direct stream off the internet than going through the reduced quality Chromecast button.

Super dumb question when you say client you mean in the back end as a way to connect it or an actual interface? I still think I just have an incorrect setting on my lms GUI interface thru the Firefox browser but no clue what it should be or currently is.

I have not. For what's it's worth you can stream almost any audio to the wiim from the Chromebook as soon also doubles as a Chromecast and can do that up to 96k. It just can't get sound from the wiim GUI. I obviously don't know what I am totally talking about here, but it would be nice if wiim...

I've given up. Would be nice if this could work but the wiim home app does 95 percent of what LMS would do. Unless wiim somehow adds lms to the app proper with an interface that lets it handle getting the stream from the server on your PC to the wiim machine, I can't get it to work. It doesn't...

Got it. makes it even odder then that it can see my wiim can play streams from radio paradise and my other apps and show all of that information on the interface, but there's no music coming out of the wiim. that would seem to be the easy part since it can see everything else.

Interesting. So the internet streams are actually coming thru the controlling device? For some reason I thought the controlling device just tells the wiim what stream to grab from the router whereas a file from the PC is different

Um. But why would it do everything except output volume? It sees the player. Plays the plug-ins, turns the currently playing music off so it is talking to the wiim on some level it's just not producing volume. It's seems to be a setting is off if everything else is working as people have...

It is. You use the chrome browser and web interface. Everything is working except for the no sound on the wiim but like I said it sees the wiim pro it's playing radio paradise, has all the track info on the web gui. Forgetting the chromebook part, how should all the plug ins and switches be set...

I would think given the pro plus upgraded DAC, that if you used the analog line out into the rca jacks of your self powered speakers you WOULD hear some subtle differences on certain recordings regarding 96 vs 192k. It seems at minimum the bass always more depth and the recordings seem more...
