    Wiim amp pro dolby lfe

I don't dispute that this is technically correct. However, once you put an hdmi input, the distinction between stereo amplifier and AVR becomes a bit academic, in my opinion, especially if coupled with the claim that the amp "supports" dolby digital. If the amp does a "standard" (correct)...

    Wiim amp pro dolby lfe

This is what I have observed with my tests. I have returned the wiim amp pro for this very reason (after having purchased it in the hope to replace my sonos amp).

    Wiim amp pro dolby lfe

Thanks for all the replies. The sub is working fine. I used some test tones and verified that it does indeed work. I believe this is not a setup problem, but more of a question as what happens when the pro amp folds down 5.1 content. I understand that this is slippery subject, as noted by...

    Wiim amp pro dolby lfe

I just got my wiim amp pro. Everything works as expected. However while playing a dolby 5.1 from my xbox, I noticed that there's no LFE signal coming out of my subwoofer. In other words, I seem to get a 5.0 downmix, not a 5.1 one. This is not what happens with the sonos amp I have here...

    Sound glitch on hdmi

I've submitted a ticket for both this and another issue (amp switching over wifi source on its own while on hdmi). Will report back if there's any news.

    Sound glitch on hdmi

No, I don't seem to suffer from those. Yesterday there were some artifacts but was watching a low quality stream, so I believe that was the cause. With my cable tv, game console no artifact occurs.

    Sound glitch on hdmi

Hi, I have my sony bravia TV connected via hdmi to my wiim amp. Everything works grat and CEC works flawlessly (in fact, better than other soundbars I had in the past). The only issue is that, after approx 5 minutes I watch some TV program, the sound "stops" for a millisecond, then resumes and...

How does per-source volume control work?

Yes, I did before doing the test described above.

How does per-source volume control work?

Thanks. I was confused, because if I enable per-source volume control, then use the app to control volume and switch between sources, it doesn't seem like the volume is remembered. E.g. if I select HDMI, then set volume to 50%, then select wifi and set volume to 20%, when I select back HDMI, I...

How does per-source volume control work?

Hi, As others in this forum I have the issue that volume on my hdmi input seems significantly lower than that when listening to music. I have checked all relevant tv settings (e.g. pcm volume level) and there's no more I can do there. I know there is a new feature, per-source volume control...
