If you go into the RC settings you can choose the “beta” option in which it will calculate adjustments based on 3 impulses per channel.

Whether PEQ is a detriment or benefit really depends on the speakers and the room they’re in. Only you can decide whether it’s a net benefit through listening.

My current setup: WiiM Ultra > Topping E70 DAC > Topping A70 Pro pre/HPA > Ayre V-5XE amplifier > Børresen X3 speakers. Incredible sound with this combination.

Five to six seconds feels like an eternity compared to the instant playback I get when using other streamers. It’s definitely not my internet service, modem or router. LAN is a no-go for my situation because it would require I run a cable across a hallway.
