Wiim just pushed 5.2.630347 to my Wiim Ultra, and a quick check shows it as having resolved the issue.

As I've said elsewhere, I'm fine with the default being conservative and slow, but would like some configurability of the step rate, including control of acceleration as well, where a quick turn produces a greater change than the same turn done slowly.

For any new issue Wiim generally says "We are looking into it" first, almost as a matter of routine. So don't despair. While Wiim hasn't fixed every issue I've put up an issue for, when they've told me something is fixed/done, it's so far always been true.

I have the same issue, and submitted a ticket. They've just told me the fix is complete, but not yet pushed to us in a released firmware.
