Here is a screenshot displaying that Tidal Connect is connected to Wiim Pro. And it says MAX. Let me tap on MAX and see what happens. Son of a gun, it gives the bitrate! Who knew. Now, here is WHA. As you can see, it downgraded the bitrate.

There’s some confusion in what I am telling you. I do use Tidal Connect and select Wiim Pro as the target device. I have been doing this for over 18 months. I sent you an image of what WHA shows for resolution. The nitrate is getting downgraded to 16-bit m/44.1kHz. Here is the image again

if I search for a track in WHA and avoid Tidal Connect Mobile, then I get the high resolution.

I was able to get Tidal app on my MacBook to play a high bitrate. However, not from my phone.
