There’s some confusion in what I am telling you. I do use Tidal Connect and select Wiim Pro as the target device. I have been doing this for over 18 months.
I sent you an image of what WHA shows for resolution. The nitrate is getting downgraded to 16-bit m/44.1kHz.

WiiM Pro and I use same WiFi network. Wiim app says signal is “Very Good”. I am not using AirPlay. I am using Tidal Connect on mobile.

I have had a Wiim Pro for almost 2 years and it always plays 16-bit/44.1kHz.
Is the output configured correctly? Yes. Audio settings are set to 24-bit/192kHz.
Did I test the audio settings? Yes, when I test, I see my outboard DAC display 48kHz/4X.
