i use coax because i have audioquest 75ohm coax cable...i don't like tinny optical cables, all of them looks cheap and flimsy...as for the sound, who knows, i stay with my unscientific approach :)

i noticed some strange sounds coming out of mine wiim pro...it is connected via coax cable to pro-ject s2+ dac and i hear some cracks/clicks/pops, exactly the same like vinyl ones? sometimes i think i am listening vinyl rip instead of clean digital files...it is happening with all...
