I suppose tidal is getting a surge of users and can't keep up, The streamer can mitigate some of this by aggressively caching songs.

I am pretty sure it's a tidal issue. From my phone or computer, Tidal Max works, no stuttering. Same network. The Rest API from WiiM is super nice to have. Another option would be to go with Qobuz, but that would also require changing devices as the WiiM mini doesn't support Qobuz Connect. Also...

I am pretty sure that Quboz connect will be supported soon, and then I will switch back to. Tidal works pretty well with connect and the quality is good, I am on regular Tidal Hifi.
