I did not but I saw that earlier post about a potential workaround. It is very annoying how it does that. I remember when Fire TV/Echos allowed the Firefox browser and I used to use that for Roon to show what’s playing, and I don’t think it exited itself after a certain amount of time … but that...
I use the browser on my Echo Shows as well to show what’s playing on Roon since there is no Fire TV app for Roon - works really well (it’s an extension that can be installed called ‘Roon Web Controller’)
I have a fake Ultra 🙃 I have a Fire HD 8 wireless tablet in its stand sitting right in front of my WiiM Pro (which has AirPlay) … works great as it’s a much bigger screen, and its wireless so I can pickup the tablet and bring it with me or sit down with it to play my music using the WiiM Home...
When I play Roon to my Sonos devices (using Sonos streaming), it pretty much always stays in sync. This is my most often used listening scenario when using Roon, but the controls as mentioned above are annoying but I put up with it (I really wish this could be solved).
My 2nd scenario is...
Loving the Apple TV app, but does anyone else have the issue where the album art flashes on and off constantly while listening to music? Happens to me all the time on each of my 3 Apple TVs (I listen to the SiriusXM app on Apple TV and airplay it to my WiiMs, and then have the WiiM app open on...
By the way, excellent news with Plex reversing course regarding Music and Photos (no longer segregated to separate apps only):

Since they won’t say, I have a theory bouncing around in my head 🙃 Sonos supports both AirPlay and Apple Music, WiiM does not. Sonos is probably scared of WiiM and have some agreement in place with Apple that is getting in WiiM’s way 🤷♂️ Purely conjecture on my part though 😶
I was all for the Mac Mini Pro until i researched the hell out of it and watched a bunch of YouTube videos (what I usually do before big purchases). Turns out (at least in my research) that the M4 Max Mac Studio is a better buy than the M4 Pro Mac Mini … more ports, better cooling, 10GB port...
Well I pulled the trigger and got the M4 Max Mac Studio … oops … it gets here Friday. I knew I shouldn’t have researched them cause then it’s hard to turn back 🤣 The original one I wanted sold out already right before the buy button, so I got a little less memory than I wanted … though I really...
I’m thinking I can safely get another 3 years out of it … which is amazing for a day-to-day computer (though it did cost me an arm and a leg when I bought this thing). It still does everything I throw at it fine … just some hiccups here and there cause it’s not Apple Silicon. Maybe one day I’ll...
I’ll go through some maintenance steps with my Mac to see if it fixes the issue before reverting back to an earlier release - good to know you’re not having an issue
