In the case you use the player for video, you can use the arc hdmi connection from your TV to connect to the WiiM Amp. And the optical output only for listening to music without the TV. That should work if your TV has an ARC HDMI socket.

This is exactly what I wrote. It is more important to establish LDAC encoding for Bluetooth Output to headphones. People using Bluetooth to stream to the WiiM device should in most cases be able to switch to Wifi streaming options.

When will this be implemented?
