This was new. I played a song on Tidal from my Mac and it blasted at full volume. After hitting pause I checked the volume in the Tidal APP (it was very low) and the WiiM App (it was also very low).
Then when I started playing again with my curser on the volume control it played like it did...
Since buying the WiiM Ultra two weeks ago, I have experienced occasional stuttering issues. This problem is not constant but occurs periodically, affecting both Tidal Connect/Qobuz Connect and direct Tidal/Qobuz streaming in Wiim app. I adjusted various network and audio settings in the WiiM app...

For some reason I cannot controlmy music streaming from the Tidal and/or Qobus apps. But only via the Wiim app...
Whereas I was certainly be able to this before..
The Qobus Connect toggle is showing up, in the app itself...
