230V Phase Anschluss Wiim Amp

Hallo zusammen,

Ich habe für einen Freund ein geschirmtes Netzkabel 2x2,5mm'2 konfektioniert. Jetzt frage ich mich, wo der Wiim Amp am C7 Stecker die Phase hat ?

Damit ich die Wiim Amp Phasen richtig anschließen kann.

Von der Rückseite aus links oder rechts gesehen ?

There is no meaningful difference between either polarity of the plug.

With the LIVE wire connected to the left pin (seen from the back) I can measure an AC voltage of ~73 V between signal ground and safety earth.
With the LIVE wire connected to the right pin the AC voltage is ~74 V between signal ground and safety earth.

I wouldn't bet on this being exactly reproducible with different units.

The optimal power conditioner for Wiim Amp is Shunyata Research’s Everest 8000.

I guess that’s a rather tongue in cheek response?

Okaay, danke. Aber für gewöhnlich hat die Schaltnetzteil Primärseite feste Anschluss Verbindungen für L und N. Über L läuft dein meist noch Sicherung und Netzfilter bevor es zum Schalttrafo geht.
Auch wenn es vllt klanglich nichts aus macht. Für das Gewissen wäre es schon besser

Okay danke. Aber normalerweise hat das Schaltnetzteil auf der Primärseite feste Anschlüsse für L und N. Ihre Sicherung und Ihr Netzfilter laufen normalerweise über L, bevor es zum Schalttransformator geht.
Auch wenn es klanglich keine Rolle spielt. Es wäre besser für Ihr Gewissen.

Okay, thanks. But normally the switching power supply has fixed connections for L and N on the primary side. Your fuse and mains filter normally run via L before it goes to the switching transformer.

That doesn't make any sense in this case since the plug in the external socket can be plugged in either way any time.

Even if it doesn't matter in terms of sound. It would be better for her conscience.

I hope it wouldn't. There's no security issue with the setup as is. The better power cord won't hurt, no matter which way it is connected. I hope you didn't go for a CEE 7/4 Type F SchuKo plug.

A picture of the inside would be nice.

I don't think there's anything to gain from that.
