Amp not detecting input?

Recently my amp, which is connected to my LG C1 TV via HDMI ARC, has stopped auto sensing the input - it's silent when I turn on my TV. The fix is to go into the app and hit "play" but it's annoying.
Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, indeed. At least one fellow WiiM user reported a very similar case.

Unfortunately there has been no simple solution so far. It looks like the TV is to blame in this case and the maker doesn't seem to care too much. :(

You can always send feedback to WiiM through the WiiM Home app, providing them with your manually entered comments and your device logs. In the bottom navigation bar tap on Settings and next on Send us feedback. WiiM might or might just not be able to work around the issue.

Hi Team, landwomble

We're aware of this issue and have just released a fix for the WiiM Ultra. Please send feedback through your WiiM Home App, and we'll whitelist your WiiM Amp with the same fix. Thank you for your assistance and patience!

Does that mean the fix will be included in the next Amp firmware update?

I may have experienced the same bug.. My HDMI and Line In inputs stopped working. LG C3 TV connected to the HDMI input. For me, the fix was to power off the Amp and let it reboot. Hopefully, the promised fix will get rid of this issue entirely.
