Any sound advantage when passing signal through additional tube preamp?

I have seen people passing signal from Wiim streamers through additional analog tube preamps (such as AIYIMA T1 or T2 or FOSI P3) before going into integrated amp. Is there any audible improvement in audio as a result? In my opinion the more processing (3 preamps in a row in this case) can only deteriorate the signal. (I don't really care for the tone controls)
Thanks

In my experience, tubes give a warmer or what some might call a more "natural" sound. If you have a pair of speakers that are considered to have an analytical sound, a tube amp might help to round things off. IDK what the Legacy speaker sound like. I've considered buying one of the Aiyima T1s just to play with.

A tube pre-amp produces extra harmonics compared to a solid state amp. Some tube equipment provides more of that than others. .Some find that sound pleasing and some do not. People who like tube equipment typically buy specific brands based on that sound. The people who do not like the tube sound often cite those dditional harmonics as not true to the sound. In the past there were even things call tube buffers that provided the tube sound in a separate little box.

In the end, it is up to the user to decide what sound they like.

I bought FX Audio tube 02 and tube 03 about the time I got my first Wiim streamers. I wanted a preamp with volume control and the tube buffer addition to the sound. So I set the wiim volume to 90. Then I can dial The analog volume control on the tube buffer preamp to a pretty high volume like 80. That gives more of the tube buffer effect. And then I control over all volume with my Onkyo stereo amp.
I have experimented with setting the wiim streamer to a vrms of one so I could drive my amp a little harder, sounds great to me.
Just got a schitt Vali 3 which has a reputation is a much better tube buffer preamp haven't tried it yet. It replaces the FX audio tube 03 I returned.
