The WiiM Edition isn’t sold by them, so I’m not surprised.I emailed Audio pro to ask when it would be available in the UK, and got a reply " I'm sorry but I don't have any info about this".

Oh, I was unaware, is it sold by Wiim then? The WiiM Edition isn’t sold by them, so I’m not surprised.
Yeah, via their Amazon store at the momentOh, I was unaware, is it sold by Wiim then?
Any News in that regard?
Or are the regular audio pro speaker compatible as well?
I would like to see Wiim bringing it's own little aktive speaker for making Multiroom more easy
Just for UK WiiM users info, as there hasn't been anything here on the EU/UK version for a while - on January 17th, I emailed Audio Pro too (I wasn't aware that it wasn't them who sold it, either), and got a very swift reply saying:The WiiM Edition isn’t sold by them, so I’m not surprised.
What are the price differences in the US between the 2 versions?Hmmm....
I'm not sure about that...... after all, they're selling their 'regular' version in the States as well, aren't they?
As it already exists in the US, and apparently it's Wiim that sells it there, it seems more likely to be a WiiM issue.
Maybe WiiM could enlighten us.....

Maybe that's where the difference is. Audio Pro is selling hardware with included software, while WiiM is selling software running on their hardware.Does anyone have any technical data or an explanation as to why WiiM can't run on any Audio Pro speaker?
It's my understanding WiiM/Linkplay/Audi Pro app is all in the same bed together so what's the limitation? Seems like if they just put WiiM integration in all the speakers it could be beneficial to them.
I've noticed in my research of Audio Pro speakers a trend of very unenthusiastic customer support which is disappointing...
"with the integration of WiiM OS [the speakers are] smarter than ever at a time when multiroom rivals have lost their streaming smarts".
