I did a check on a song that someone told me audirvana audio scan, pointed as "mp3 320kbit" instead of the 48KHz 24bit declared... I think this could depend from how that file was produced and not by the streaming service involved.
Anyway, Tidal and Qobuz have quite same bitrate, when played from WiiM app, whilst when used Tidal connect, WiiM reports even a different value from other Tidal...
The question is, are just minor differences or a very different processes are involved?
In the following pictures are shown differences...
Any thoughts, considering that my "golden ear" doesn't catch any difference? 😎
