Bluetooth Output

It would be really nice to have EQ working with Bluetooth out. As far as I can tell it does not work, Also, I noticed that if the input sensitivity settings do not work with Bluetooth. It seems like once you choose Bluetooth output all setting are automatic and only volume works no matter the input source. I noticed this when the Bluetooth output seemed to strong and started sounding bad with analog input I tried to adjust it to no avail.. By bad sound I mean over peaking and distortion.

Yes, I am aware that Bluetooth output is not the best sounding output option. I do know that the current Bluetooth output can be improved.

Thanks

Still EQ is not working with bluetooth output. Also VU metter is not working as well.

Damn, just ordered a WiiM Ultra as I wanted to use it to EQ a Bluetooth headset and then I discovered this and other threads stating that it isn't supported, so I canceled the order again. :-(
Do we know whether this is just a missing feature that might be added in the future - maybe with per-out EQ - or is it a hardware limitation?

This was the answer from @WiiM Support a year ago.

"We are aware of the issue you've mentioned where the EQ effects and Volume Balance are not functioning as expected with AirPlay Casting and Bluetooth output. Please know that this matter is being taken seriously, and our engineering team is actively discussing potential solutions to resolve it."

As this is still not implemented, it may look like it is a hardware limitation.

I just discovered that WiiM only supports SBC codec via BT anyways. In that case EQ also doesn't make that much sense, and I will add a FiiO BTA30Pro for BT with aptX/LDAC and to EQ on the optical out of the WiiM. I guess that would be the best solution currently for descent wireless sound quality with EQ until WiiM adds both BT EQ and better BT codec support (if not limited by hardware anyways).

Not sure if codec instructions for aptX are implemented as a hardware of bt chip. I think that firware update will not solve problem o bt coding options.
