Hello,

Dipping my toes in the Wiim landscape and just setup 2 A10 MKii (Wiim edition) set as stereo pair.

A couple questions...

I need a little more bass than this A10 stereo pair provides - would I be able to connect a sub to pair and have a 2.1 system? If so, would it be best to connect them via the 3.5mm somehow on the back of A10s? Or just get a Wiim amp to connect to powered sub and I can group them together?

Also, having a small issue with cast features. I use both Plex and Tidal. I set up the A10s as stereo pair in Home and everything seem to work well casting via Plexamp. Doing so via Tidal only sends to 1 speaker (Tidal app not picking up the pair to cast to like Plexamp does). I then need to go to Wiim app to chain them together, then it works (they already have been linked in Wiim app). Any thoughts on why the pair unlinks in Tidal, vir why Tidal is not picking up the cast pair like Plexamp does?

I think the aux in the A10s is an input, not output, so no.

Guess that might be feasible

Have you set up the stereo pair in the google home app (rather than WiiM home, your use of “home” on its own is ambiguous), and cast to them using Chromecast from the Tidal app?

Yes I've got them set as stereo pair in Google Home. I can cast to the pair just fine via Plexamp. Tidal is not recognizing the pair, just each speaker individually. When selecting one of the speakers I need to go into Wiim Home to chain them together even this step was previously done.

I’ve just created a stereo pair with my WiiM Pro and WiiM Pro Plus in my google home app by selecting the Pro, then under its device settings, I choose audio then created a stereo pair with the Pro Plus and it created a stereo pair called “living room pair” (since both devices were in the “living room” room) and that appears as a Chromecast target in the Tidal app. I don’t have a subscription to Tidal so can’t cast to that but it certainly appears as a target in Tidal for me.
