CD Player to Sonos with Wiim Pro Plus

Hi All,
I am trying to connect my cd player via my Wiim Pro Plus to play via my Sonos speakers without any success. I am using a coax cable to connect the cd player and Wiim. I'm also not sure I'm set up correctly in the app. Is this configuration even possible?

The coax socket on the WiiM Pro Plus is an output, not input socket. The Pro Plus only has optical or analog RCA inputs
