confused by apps

i'm trying to set up my wiim pro plus with the music services i want but dont understand how the apps work together. this is all new to me and ive never used a music app before. i'm using the wiim home app on my phone, no problem with that, but am i supposed to download Spotify, Tidal apps etc separately, or use Spotify/Tidal through the wiim app?

You can use Tidal directly in the WiiM app though it is less feature rich than the Tidal App. Spotify only works by using the Spotify app.
