Hello WiiM forum.
I've just got a WiiM amp and am playing around with it, checking features, functionality etc and seeing how I can get it integrate best with my Node Red home automation system.
I have done a lot of googling and reading in this and other forums but I have a couple of questions that I haven't been able to find an answer to:
1) Using the API how do you select the HDMI/ARC input using the httpapi.asp?command=setPlayerCmd:switchmode:<player_mode> command?
for <player_mode> The WiiM API doc lists:
"Version 1.2
line-in (it refers to aux-in too)
bluetooth
optical
udisk
wifi"
The Arylic (which I believe uses that same underlying code) docs list:
"wifi: wifi mode
line-in: line analogue input
bluetooth: bluetooth mode
optical: optical digital input
co-axial: co-axial digital input
line-in2: line analogue input #2
udisk: UDisk mode
PCUSB: USBDAC mode"
I have tried all of these but none switch it to the TV hdmi source. It must be possible programatically, (rather than just via the HDMI auto-sensing) because the WiiM app has a TV source button in the list of Source Inputs and that works fine to switch between TV and other sources.
2) I have my Music stored as mp3s on an HDD drive attached to my TPLINK router. In Home Music Share the WiiM app finds this and I can browse through it all fine. But if I add another track or folder on the NAS, it doesn't update in the Home Music Share immediately. One folder that I added only appeared on the Home Music Share the next day. Is there a way to force a rescan so that it updates immediately?
