Hello everyone, I am contacting you to get your opinion or other testimonies on a problem of clicking emitted in the speakers when switching the amp on and off. I did not have that when unpacking. It has only been for a week and I wonder if it does not come from the last update (but unlikely).... Thank you for your opinions and answers

Best submitting a ticket to WiiM thru the feedback section in the app when this happens, and perhaps include a sound file if possible.

A single, faint pop/crackle/click? Same volume from speakers regardless of wiim volume level?
Yes, I know of at least one other who has reported this via feedback.

Forgot to add, for me it's not a new firmware thing, first brought to my attention a couple of months ago.
Not used it to drive speakers for a couple of weeks now, so can't confirm if it's still doing it.

Also forgot to add...
I hear a similar noise from one of my headphone amps when I turn it on, when already wearing the 'phones, obviously!
i.e. to me it's just one of those things that's kind of annoying (for want of a better, less forceful word) yet benign.

I started a ticket, but he also advises to report it on the forum. it is indeed a small click like a dry and very short crackling when switching on and off and it seems to me that the volume is the same on the speakers, whatever the volume of the Wiim... I thought a problem with the banana plug connection cable, I checked but where I do not understand is that I did not have it at the beginning. it appeared recently.

I've had the Wiim Amp Pro for a few days now and I also hear a soft crackling sound coming out of the speakers when I switch it on and off. However, this has been the case for me right from the start. I suppose it's one of those annoying things that you have to accept. Nevertheless, it's of course irritating because you think that something like this shouldn't actually occur when using a modern device (with an optimal electrotechnical design ...).

Yes, it is a noise that has existed since the launch of Amp pro. (Feedback already provided, of course.)

In my experience, most TPA3255 amps with PFFB can hear it. Personally, I don't have a problem with the Amp Pro noise as its volume is low.
