Create Playlist

Hi,

How do I create a playlist? I have a load of mp3 files on my computer that I would like to steam through the app in various playlists. There is a playlist tab in the app and not one in the desktop app that I can see.
Any solution?

You can't load (m3u/m3u8) or create playlists in the Windows WiiM Home app but you can in Android, albeit one track at a time. To add a track to a new/existing playlist click the vertical ellipsis next to the track and choose 'Add to Playlist'.

If you have playlists stored on your PC you'll need to use a media server - such as MinimServer - to index and present them to the Android WHA.

EDIT: I've just noticed that you tagged your post with "WiiM Amp Pro" which I think (someone correct me if I'm wrong please) will load playlists from connected USB drives, so that could be another option.

Regarding playlists, I've created a few using MusicBee software on my laptop. I then exported them as .M3U files. Those files were put in a Playlist folder on the usb stick dedicated for use on the Wiim Amp. Works pretty well.

M3U File (What It Is & How to Open One)

An M3U file is a Audio Playlist file, but it isn't an actual audio file. Media players like VLC, Windows Media Player, and iTunes are options for opening M3U files.
