Different ”now playing” screen for different inputs

Maybe just me but I think more options would be nice, like a functional spectrum analyser for in my case my tape deck. But more than anything I would like to be able to select different options for different inputs and make them stick without having to manualy change them.

In my case for example something like:

Ethernet = album art
Phono = VU meters
Tape deck = spectrum analyser

I think that the more options available the better, I think that more should be made of it , it's a big selling point in my opinion
I'm going to repeat my self again but I would like to see a screen with smaller album art but bigger font so that I can see which track is playing from over 3m away.

One option would be to only display the artist, album and song name in larger fonts because the device is so far away that it cannot be seen properly to read the current font sizes.

We (or at least some) have been waiting for this redesigning of the Ultra screen since it was released. So it will probably never happen

I really hope you get it right this time and listen to people on this and other forums.

It is not science, so don't spend to much time on it.

Additional options for playback screen could include:

- Blank screen.
- Clocks (as we already have for standby).
- Clock on (dimmed) album art.
- Large title text on dimmed album art.
- Large white title text on black.
- Tech info: Volume in -dBFS, input name, output name, bitrate, data type, etc.

When showing title text it shall also include album title, this is missing now.

All input and output names shall be editable in WHA and shown on Ultra screen.
