Digital Transport / Passthrough

I’m missing a preset for ”Digital Transport / Passthrough” that ensures that the internal DAC is bypassed. I only listen to lossless streaming services and use an external DAC. Using the Wiim Ultra as a pure transport seems complicated or at least not self-explanatory. It’s prone for mistakes/misunderstandings. For example, hitting the EQ by mistake activates the internal DAC. Same with volume.

I searched the hell out of this forum, could not find a feature request for a ’preset’. Can you link to it?

There’s no Preset. There are several settings to be set. Take a look at the other (same) thread you started and the procedure is posted there.

That’s the whole point. Instead of doing some 15 settings and still not knowing if it’s enough, let’s just ask them for a preset for Digital Passthrough. It would be a great feature!
