Does my old integrated amplifier connect via line or directly to the power amp?

Hello, I'm trying to choose a WiIM and it's hard for me to decide because of the wide range there. I don't know whether to prioritise this year's new DA converter, Wiffi6 and Bluetooth 5.3, or whether to give too much importance to these novelties. Now the question arises whether to use my Yamaha AX730 150W (6 Ohm) or the WiIM amplifier. But if I use mine, I would have to disconnect the "U" of my integrated amplifier that connects the power stage to its pre-to connect the WiIM to the amplifier. Am I right? And if so, I assume that the amplifier will be supplying the 150W continuously, with the consequent fear that the previous connected WiIM will correctly attenuate the output. I don't know if that's how it's connected. Thank you very much. Greetings.

You can connect the analog output to the CD or TUNER input and use the amplifier as usual, you do not need to disconnect the amplifier from the preamplifier, the volume and tone controls on the amplifier will work. You should choose from the ultra or pro plus models.

Write in English, please.

And another question I ask myself and can't find... Can the wiim amp subwoofer be connected to a passive speaker?

I don't think so.

You can connect an active, amplified subwoofer to the WiiM amp's sub out. If you have a passive subwoofer, you will need a amplifier.

But I read the Wiim amplifier, which includes an amplifier for passive speakers

How many languages do you know? Now German. :)

I answered you how to use your Yamaha amplifier and offered you two WiiM options based on this. If you are planning to buy a Wiim Amp, why do you need a Yamaha?

Well, I'm in a real mess... I have to write in the translator, the first time I must have copied the box wrong, referring to the original and not to the translation box, in the second case it was German by default and I didn't realise it, I'm very sorry.

I have the same mess with the choice of the device, I can't find the best option, that's why I ask that all the possibilities be taken into account and the most appropriate one be chosen.

In my first post I asked if this year's novelties in the new additions were worth it or if it was not so noticeable. But I haven't received an answer to this. My wife prefers me to buy it with a new amplifier and I'm sorry to say goodbye to my vintage Yamaha.

new DA converter, here you have to decide. I specifically chose Pro Plus because it is equipped with DAC from AK, and I don't like the sound of Sabre. It's a personal matter.

Wiffi6 and Bluetooth 5.3 have no effect on the sound quality. The previous versions are quite sufficient.

Personally, I would not change the amplifier, and I use a regular stereo amplifier, also quite powerful. But if your wife wants... No one will give you advice that could cost you your personal life. ;)

The upside of getting a Wiim device and plugging into your existing setup is it will sound and operate as it always had. If you go with the Wiim Amp to replace your Yamaha Amp, it will be a sleek setup by minimizing the number of components, but MAY sound different.

I personally would keep the Yamaha Amp and integrate a Wiim Pro Plus, but that depends on how strongly your wife feels about it.

Well... it lacks HDMI ARC
