How can i stream via Plexamp

I'm trying to stream Plexamp from either my Macbook Air or Iphone to my WiiM Ultra but can not.

No support for Airplay on the WiiM Ultra and Google cast keeps stuttering. I know i can access Plex in the WiiM home app but there are too many features missing at the moment.

Will there ever be a fix for this or is it just a case of not ever being able to stream my music from Plexamp to my WiiM Ultra?

If you have Chromecast active on the Ultra, you should at least be able to Cast from Your iPhone

Do you have the latest firmware on the Ultra. Google cast shouldn't be stuttering anymore (i cast plexamp to wiim ultra as well, albeit from android phone, no apple involved). If you have the latest firmware and still have issues with google cast, send them feedback through the wiim home app about your problem! They might fix you with a previous version of google cast that doesn't have these issues.

Most of the interesting features from PlexAmp are in the WiiM home app through the beat Plex integration (on Android) already. What's missing for iOS?

In Android: sorting albums/artists alphabetical doesn't work! And there is no search function either so it' s pretty much completely useless.

Nope still stuttering and no artwork from iphone 15 plus on latest ios

Plexamp as endpoint seems to have appeared on the last roadmap shared few months ago. Shared as actively in works without a due date.

Hoping for a road map update during December and hopefully with a ETA for Plexamp endpoint..

Thanks didn't know that, i've just created my account here and i'm currently reading the 19 pages on the plexamp integration . Clearly having plexamp as an endpoint would solve most issues. Anyway, this is still way better than the recent Sonos "experience"

Fair enough—guess we might have different takes on 'most.' I'm not a heavy PlexAmp user, so the WiiM app works well enough for my casual use. Unlike the Rolling Stones, I got satisfaction.

I'm shifting from the Sonos universe where every release is worse than the previous one so plex availibility on Wiim is a good start and more changes are coming so i don't mind waiting a bit. So yeah we are miles away from what plexamp offers but at least it works. The Sonic features are the ones i'm missing the most.
