Hello Folks:
I am in an existing home built in 1986. We had passive speakers installed in the 90s - flush mounted into the wall. So - the goal is to use these passive speakers. I'm upgrading the amplifyer system in 2 rooms. In both cases - my goals are TV and Amazon Alexa streaming Amazon music and I Heart Radio. Simple needs. I am not looking for full house or any of the more modern applications.
In one room - the living room - there are two speakers. I purchased a WiiM amp and LOVE the thing. It is great for stereo. I turned on source sensing - fantastic. I literally do not have to touch the WiiM amp routinely.
My problem is my home theatre. I need 5 outputs. Left, Right, Sub, Surround Left and Surround Right. The Wiim Amp only has Left, Right and Sub outputs. I have read the "Setting Up a WiiM Dolby 5.1 Surround Sound System" document and just don't get it. Can someone help me with what I need to buy and how do I wire it?
