How to turn it off??

Hi,

I wonder how to simply turn it off without getting the socket away from the wall....
I do not see any button on the device nor an option on the wiim app.
By the way i saw on the app a page talking about the pairing of the remote but I DIDN'T RECEIVE ANY REMOTE DEVICE IN THE PACKAGING....
apart from this, it sounds great!!

There is no power off button or power off function available.
The remote is sold separately.

I think Idle / standby is the closest to off.
I also think some people seem to have some issues with auto wake up from idle.
But it consumes so little power you probably just need to not buy a coffee a couple of times a year to cover it

Yeah I agree....... I didn't notice remote was not included at time of buying....... you put it to stand by using IDLE TIMER on the app??

The device consumes about 4W in operating mode and the same amount in sleep mode. So there is no difference.
About 2.9 kW per month. In Russia, it will cost about 21 rubles a month ($ 0.3), do not even worry!

Use a power strip with an on off switch. Easy peasy.

If you disconnect the power it will have to find your wifi every time you fire it up. Plus your device will not auto update. Idle is good enough. My light dims within a minute after I stop playing music

Well, technically you can, but the light keeps turning on and off randomly
