It really blows my mind that they are pulling and displaying synchronized lyrics (via WiiM Home app for Apple TV) for music streaming over Qobuz. I can’t think of any competing streamer with this ability.
Maximum kudos to the WiiM devs for this. Just a stunning achievement.
Thanks, Ronnie! I got up at 4am and rode 44 virtual miles/climbed 1,400 virtual feet on my trainer in Zwift to start off my 44th birthday. Afterwards redownloaded the WiiM Home app for my Apple TV (had deleted it but just reintroduced the WiiM Ultra back in my chain, so figured I might as well reinstall the TV app) and settled in for a listening session only to discover this amazing development (had not used the TV app since basically it first came out and didn’t yet have this level of functionality!).
Indeed, I am a born & raised polyglot…although I am only fluently literate in two of the three languages that I speak (but I speak two dialects of the one I am illiterate in, so go figure!). This is what happens when your dad is from Hong Kong and your mom is from the Dominican Republic (where they first met). All that said, all four of my grandparents were originally from mainland China, specifically three of them from the same region, which does not speak the same dialect as in Hong Kong. Had my paternal grandfather not passed away when my dad was not yet even three years of age, I might have learned yet a third dialect (and not a single one of them Mandarin, so it is particularly ironic that I cannot communicate with anyone in most of China!).
