The Denon DCD-50 CD player is an almost perfect match for the (silver) Ultra. It does require an output convertor though to use the Ultra DAC as the Denon only has a coaxial digital output.

Unfortunately the DCD-50 is a discontinued model now but can still be picked up secondhand.

Nice! I was trying to decide which vintage or second-hand CD player that I want to put under my turntable, although I like the look of the Denon under the WiiM Ultra and will look for one of these as well.

beautiful unit and set up! So perfectly aligned with the Ultra, as if they were both made for each other! I had no idea of this Denon Cd players existence, too bad it was discontinued. Besides Ebay (which has very expensive delivery costs) where else can I find one of these in the US ?

The Teac is a similar size as well and can be a nice choice if you have a lot of silver componentsResized_image-3_1738536538821.png

All of you have beautiful setups with small CD players. I ended up going the budget route by using a Panasonic 5-disc DVD changer that my dad gave me for free because he hasn't used it in years. It works fine as a CD player, especially through the optical port, and it is a full-size deck that is sitting under my turntable.
