What did you hope to achieve by connecting your android tablet via usb?

The ultra's usb socket is for attaching a usb stick / hdd containing music files and/or for usb audio out to another dac..
It can't be used as a usb dac input.

I found that the WiiM Amp does recognize the contents of an old Apple iPod nano 6. But that doesn't mean you could play all kinds of music using the iPad as a streaming device.
